Meet the Host
Dr. Rich Brazil grew up raising cattle, sheep, and pigs in the farming community of Newman, California. He studied Ag Science and Management at UC Davis, including a year abroad studying agriculture in Australia. After completing veterinary school at UC Davis, he and his wife Dr. Erin Walsh Brazil started a large animal veterinary practice in rural northern California, where they raised eight children.
By the early 1990s, Dr. Brazil began helping ranchers improve profitability—eventually leading to the creation of Ranch Vision, a forward-thinking software tool that enables grazing livestock producers to test strategies, analyze outcomes, and build profit-maximization plans customized to their unique ranch operations.
